We are seeking an ambitious, qualified Accountant to lead high-profile financial planning activities within Liverpool City Council. This pivotal role will support Finance's modernisation journey, adopting a Finance Business Partner approach and driving the implementation of the Council's new core financial system, Microsoft Dynamics 365.
You must hold a current membership with CCAB or CIMA, and provide evidence of continued professional development (CPD). Proven experience in financial planning and supporting the Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) within a local authority setting. Strong understanding of local government funding frameworks and their connection to national policy.
