We are pleased to advertise an exciting opportunity within West Yorkshire Police's Economic Crime Unit. As a Financial Intelligence Officer, you will play an extremely important role in tackling illicit finance for WYP.

As part of the Financial Investigation Unit, you will support Financial Investigators and help develop financial intelligence to identify assets. You will need to have a natural curiosity and an attention to detail as you will be assisting money laundering, fraud, and asset recovery investigations.

You will also undertake financial research on behalf of several specialist teams within Protective Services Crimes to assist major investigations including locating wanted offenders. Due to this we are looking for someone who is willing to work in a high-pressure environment.

The role will be based in Wakefield and once fully trained, the successful applicant will be able to utilise both office and agile working (subject to local agreement).
