Qualifications

  • Proven experience in management reporting, financial reporting, budgeting, and managing audits.
  • Experience with ROI tax and compliance would be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to present and work closely with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations for the finance team.
  • Review monthly management accounts and present board packs.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packs for senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee annual audit process, ensuring compliance with audit standards.
  • Manage relationships with banks and other external partners.
  • Responsible for stock control for all franchises.
  • Liaise with external tax consultants for tax compliance.

Financial Controller (Scaling Business/County Down)

VANRATH are delighted to be working with a dynamic business across the Island of Ireland to recruit a commercially astute hands on Financial Controller to take on a Number 1 role within the Finance Team. Reporting to the Managing Director this is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role within a fast paced diverse business.

What you'll do
  • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations for a small high performing finance team
  • Review monthly management accounts for a number of entities within the group and presentation of board pack
  • Budgeting and forecasting, develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts and maintain company cashflows.
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly reporting packs for senior stakeholders
  • Oversee annual audit process for the group, liaising with audit partner and manager, ensuring compliance with audit standards and reviewing the final audited financial statements.
  • Manage the relationships with the banks and other external partners
  • Overall responsibility for stock control for all franchises within the Group
  • Liaise with external tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations - NI & ROI
About you
  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA//CIMA/ACCA)
  • Experience to ROI tax and compliance would be advantageous
  • Proven experience in management reporting, financial reporting, budgeting, and managing audits
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to present and work closely with senior stakeholders
