The Role

As Financial Controller, you’ll be the cornerstone of financial control and strategic insight. You’ll lead on budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and compliance, ensuring robust systems and processes that support operational excellence. From statutory accounts and regulatory returns to modernising financial systems, your expertise will drive efficiency and innovation.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee all aspects of financial control, ensuring accuracy and security across systems and processes.
  • Lead annual budgeting and provide clear guidance to budget holders.
  • Deliver timely cash flow projections and management information to support strategic decisions.
  • Review statutory accounts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage payroll and benefits across multiple entities.
  • Play a key role in strategic projects, system upgrades, and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
  • A Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in senior-level financial control and reporting.
  • Partial VAT experience is essential.

  • Strong IT and systems development skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
