Role overview

This is a unique opportunity to design and own Evaro’s financial control environment within a mission-driven health tech business focused on making healthcare affordable and accessible. The role offers clear progression to Head of Finance, strong leadership support, and is office-based in Norwich with a well-supported transition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial control team of 3 at Evaro ensuring all core operational activities happen in a controlled, organised way and always delivered to deadlines
  • Act as primary relationship owner with external audit firm, ensuring smooth audit preparation and timely delivery of statutory accounts
  • Develop appropriate policies to implement and bring clarity to business processes such as procure to pay, capex, expense policies, and others
  • Identify and work with operational teams to implement processes that support the production of better-quality financial records in particular inventory processes at the Pharmacy.
  • Evaluate and implement cost-effective financial systems and tooling to strengthen controls while supporting Evaro’s object to keep healthcare affordable
Requirements

Essential

  • Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • At least 3 years PQE experience and experience leading a financial control team
  • Demonstrated experience implementing financial controls and processes in a scaling business environment, not just operating within established frameworks
  • Worked in business with inventory processes and know what good looks like
  • Have worked in or been through multiple statutory audits
Desirable
  • E-commerce or tech-enable retail experience, particularly in inventory-heavy businesses (healthcare sector knowledge is a bonus)
  • Experience accounting for share option schemes
