Are you ready to take financial leadership to the next level

As a Financial Controller Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) youll play a key role in ensuring financial integrity compliance and performance within our Colchester site. Youll oversee financial reporting controls and accounting processes working closely with operational and regional finance teams to support business performance during this key transition period.

What youll be doing
  • Lead day-to-day financial control reporting and compliance activities for the Colchester site.
  • Ensure all financial processes comply with SOX requirements and company standards.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery of financial reports.
  • Support the preparation of budgets forecasts and variance analyses to assist business decision-making.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors ensuring smooth audit processes and compliance with accounting policies.
  • Oversee the maintenance of SAP ECC / Navision systems to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment across multinational financial operations.
About You

You are an accomplished finance professional with a strong accounting background experienced in managing financial operations within a multinational business. Youre analytical detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment where deadlines and accuracy are key.

Youll bring
  • A strong accounting and financial control background ideally within a manufacturing or service organization.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment collaborating across regions and functions.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Knowledge and experience with SOX controls and internal audit processes.
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP ECC and / or Navision systems.
  • Solid understanding of auditing principles prior audit experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
