A leading technology company based in Manchester is seeking a Finance Analyst to prepare financial forecasts and manage cost calculations. The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance or Accounting and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Oracle ERP or SAP is preferred. Responsibilities

• Manufacturing spend forecast, analysis and review package preparation
• Manufacturing standard cost & actual cost calculation, analysis and review deck preparation
• Month end close activities incl. expense accrual and analysis, actual spent allocation, under-utilization etc., Weekly report preparation & analysis
• Prepare scrap report and analysis
• Month end actual financial review package preparation and analysis
• Kaizen savings forecast, monitoring and actual savings calculation
• Set up cost model for NPI product ??
• Support to operations departments incl. data sharing etc.
• Capex budget monitoring
• Contract management
• Government related statistical report preparation and submission
• Other Ad Hoc activities

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Finance, Accounting
• 1-2 years Accounting or Costing experience, having Big 4 experience is preferred
• Familiar with Oracle ERP or SAP, Microsoft Excel, PPT etc. systems & tools is preferred
• Result Oriented, Open minded, with good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with cross functions
• Be able to handle complicated data calculation & maintenance
• Continuous Improvement mindset to optimize working process/reporting template
• Be able to work under pressure or tight schedule
• Be good at English both Oral and Written
