A leading holiday resort company in Newark on Trent is seeking a Financial Accountant. In this hybrid role, you will support financial reporting and accounting functions with a salary around £50,000 plus benefits including a bonus scheme. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with experience in financial statements and UK VAT understanding. A collaborative team player is essential. This is an exciting opportunity to join us as Financial Accountant. You will provide support to the Group Tax and Financial Accountant in respect of technical accounting, the preparation of statutory financial statements, cashflow budgeting and forecasting, preparing and reviewing controls.
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified, working towards or equivalent with a broad understanding of UK VAT.
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.
Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based and home-working.
