Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Grade D: £30,518 per annum

Location: Headquarters Ripley

Hours: 37 hours per week, however you may occasionally need to work beyond normal office hours.

Agile working arrangements can be discussed with the successful candidate.

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Finance Team - to be part of the team that provides efficient and effective financial support and data to all sections of the organisation in a professional manner.

You will be efficiently and accurately processing invoices and claims in accordance with agreed processes, procedures and deadlines in the organisation s financial systems. The Finance Team works across all Ledgers including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger. The role includes working with the Agresso/Unit4 Business World Integrated Finance System, Microsoft products including Excel, Outlook & Word and travel booking systems to facilitate many aspects of the role.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and experience:

  • You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE s (Grade A to C) or Grade 4 and above or equivalent including Maths & English.
  • Recent & significant experience working in a finance office
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge & understanding of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functionality; processing invoices, raising sales invoices and recording income
  • Dealing with customers/suppliers
  • Working with financial software packages and spreadsheets
