We are seeking an Office Finance Assistant to join our friendly team providing vital financial and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our school on a part‑time permanent basis. Your opportunity

As an Office Finance Assistant you’ll be at the heart of our operations—managing financial processes, supporting administrative tasks and providing a warm, professional welcome to parents and visitors. You’ll gain experience across a variety of systems and responsibilities from handling school finances and organising trips to maintaining accurate records and supporting the leadership team. What we are looking for:
  • Strong ICT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Effective communication and good administration skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines, use initiative and keep your line manager informed
  • Pleasant and welcoming manner with excellent timekeeping and reliability
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to build appropriate relationships and maintain professional boundaries with children and young people
  • Experience in a finance or office environment (school or educational setting desirable)
  • Familiarity with finance and school systems such as Sage, SIMS, Parentmail and WisePay (desirable)

Actual Salary: 7912.65

Hours: 2 days per week, 7 hours per day (days of the week in which you work are flexible). Term time only.
