Job summary

A Brighton based Professional Services firm is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of finance. You will closely assist the Board in delivering the firm's strategy and support its long-term business development. Responsibilities include preparing monthly accounts, budget setting, VAT returns, payroll processing, and overseeing ledgers. Ideal candidates will possess supervisory skills, commercial outlook, and relevant experience. This hybrid role allows for three days in the office and two from home.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience in a similar finance manager role.
  • Comfortable supervising a team.
  • Strong understanding of accounting practices.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts.
  • Assist with annual budget setting process.
  • Reconcile balance sheets.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns.

As Finance Manager you will oversee all aspects of finance, you will be working closely with the Board assisting with the delivery of the strategy and vision of the firm and supporting the longer term development of the business.

Successful applicants will have recent experience in a similar role, be comfortable supervising, have a commercial outlook and sound accounting experience. This is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two working from home.
