A fast-growing M&E construction firm in England is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and contribute strategically to long-term growth. Responsibilities include managing bookkeeping, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating with internal teams on business improvements. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in finance within construction and be proficient with financial systems like Xero. Success Recruit are partnering with a fast-growing M&E construction company based in Waltham Abbey to hire a Finance Professional. This key role sits at the heart of the Management Team, reporting directly to the directors and overseeing the daily operations of a busy finance department. The position will also focus on developing and enhancing processes, with a strong emphasis on modernising workflows through AI-driven solutions.
The Finance Manager will take ownership of the full bookkeeping cycle and act as the central point of contact for all daily financial activity always working within best practice and working closely with the directors and external consultants supporting with the upcoming and smooth transition of a planned new accounting system migration into the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the company as a key team member of the team, the position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving business improvement and contributing strategically as part of the senior management team, supporting the directors in delivering long-term growth plans as well as being hands on in a small finance team.
Hours : Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (some flexibility)
Salary : Circa £50k+ dependant on experience
