Pure Search are partnered with an instantly recognisable company based in Glasgow, looking to hire a Finance Lead to manage a team of 12.

The successful candidate will join a high-performing finance function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of processes, driving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic business objectives through expert tax management and advisory insight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 12 professionals to manage a portfolio of businesses and processes across multiple regions, contributing to tax filings, payments, forecasting, provisioning, and reporting.
  • Serve as the regional lead for existing operational models, providing advisory support for their implementation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with external advisors, auditors, and the broader global tax team on tax-related matters.
  • Coordinate with finance and tax control teams to ensure accurate data collection and smooth process execution.
  • Participate in a structured tax function supporting various project initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their professional growth and performance.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Holds a relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, ATT, or CTA.
  • Has experience with US GAAP and EMEA finance / tax.
  • Demonstrates people management experience, with the ability to guide and motivate high-performing teams.

This is based in Glasgow 3 days a week, paying up to £90,000 + 10% bonus.
