Description:

Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London.

We have an opportunity for an experienced and qualified accountant to join us at Outward Housing. Outward works in partnership with Newlon and is a forward‑thinking and inclusive charity, working across eight London boroughs to support people with learning disabilities, people on the autism spectrum, older people and young people at risk, to live with dignity and purpose.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Leading the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Statutory accounts and supporting schedules
  • Preparing all financial performance indicators
  • Providing financial support and advice as and when needed
Requirements:

With a CCAB accounting qualification, or finalist with substantial experience, you will have proven experience of producing and developing periodic management accounts and budget setting, forecasting and interpretation of financial performance. Excellent IT skills, with the ability to use accounting packages, is essential, along with an organised and methodical approach and an understanding of the importance of diversity in the workplace.
