Finance Assistant | Global Entertainment Company | London/Hybrid

The Finance Assistant Role

As a Finance Assistant, you will be an important part of the finance team with a focus on ensuring the smooth running of Accounts Payable/transactional finance. You will be responsible for processing invoices, managing supplier relationships, performing reconciliations, and supporting day-to-day finance operations to keep things running efficiently.

This is a great role for someone early in their finance career who wants to build strong foundations in AP while gaining exposure to a fast-growing, creative business. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and Financial Controller and receive training and support, with the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility (including exposure to US finance processes). Over time, there will be scope to get involved in month-end processes, giving you valuable experience and a clear path to progression.

Responsibilities
  • Process invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely entry into the finance system
  • Assist with weekly payment runs and monitor outstanding balances
  • Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on any discrepancies
  • Support with staff expenses and credit card reconciliations
  • Handle queries professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of invoices and payments
  • Assist the finance team with ad hoc tasks

Package

Salary: £28,000

Location: London

Hybrid: Flexible hybrid model (typically 2-3 days in-office)
