Our client is a respected professional services firm based in Exeter, offering a supportive and collaborative working culture. They are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in legal or professional services who enjoys working in a detail oriented environment with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and problem-solving.

The Role

As a Finance Assistant, you’ll play an important role in managing billing processes, resolving complex financial queries, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations across the finance function. You’ll work within a small, friendly team, providing accurate and timely billing support while ensuring client satisfaction through attention to detail and proactive communication.

  • Manage billing and e-billing processes, including producing credit notes and handling high-level queries.
  • Assign payers, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate client billing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain efficient financial processes.
