Are you ready to make an impact in the Recycle loop at Reconomy as our next Finance Assistant in the Treasury team? Join a forward-thinking environment where your attention to detail and financial acumen will help shape how we manage and optimise our cash flow. Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring our cash is accurately forecasted, allocated, and aligned.

Day to Day Duties

• Process incoming payments by accurately applying daily cash receipts to customer accounts and sales ledgers.
• Reconcile bank transactions against internal financial records to ensure consistency and accuracy across ledgers.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, including issues related to overpayments, underpayments, and unallocated funds.
• Collaborate with credit control teams to elevate queries and facilitate prompt resolution.
• Follow up on outstanding remittances from clients to support timely and accurate cash allocation.

Additional Job Information

• Full-time position (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
• You will need to live within a commutable distance to travel to our Telford office.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial systems and tools.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills to handle complex payment scenarios.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
