Part-time | 28–32 hours per week | Hybrid working
£33,000 FTE (pro rata for part‑time hours)
Are you a proactive Purchase Ledger professional looking for a flexible, supportive finance role where you can really take ownership? We’re working with a growing business that’s looking to welcome a Finance Assistant (Purchase Ledger) into their friendly and collaborative finance team. This is a part-time opportunity (approx. 28–32 hours per week) with flexibility around days worked. While normal full‑time hours are 9:00–5:30 (with a 30‑minute lunch), the team is happy to accommodate different working patterns — with the understanding that some flexibility is required around month end.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the end‑to‑end purchase ledger function, working closely with both internal teams and external suppliers. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys ownership, problem‑solving, and being part of a supportive finance environment.
We’re seeking a great team fit — someone approachable, organised, and confident communicating with suppliers and colleagues at all levels.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that genuinely values flexibility, teamwork, and ownership. You’ll have autonomy in your role, the support of an experienced Finance Manager, and the chance to be part of a positive, people‑focused culture.
