We have an excellent opportunity for an individual to work with a leading UK casting manufacturer based in Leicester as a Finance Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager with the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate would be proactive and detail-oriented.

The Finance Assistant Role:
  • Handling telephone calls, taking and forwarding messages as required
  • Processing weekly payroll
  • Produce payslips and weekly reports
  • Inputting holidays and absences onto the system
  • Processing expenses
  • VAT Returns
  • Month end reconciliation
  • Supporting the Finance Manager as and when required
Our Ideal Finance Assistant Candidate:
  • Experience using Sage200 or similar payroll systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to use own initiative
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Detail orientated and proactive
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages (Excel and Word)
