Job Title: Finance Analyst

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: London

Working style: Hybrid 50% home / office based

We have an exciting opportunity for Finance Analysts to join our established Finance team at Royal London Asset Management. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about building a long-term career in finance and are committed to becoming a qualified accountant.

In this role you'll gain a solid foundation in finance operations FP&A and financial close processes. We are committed to supporting your professional growth including helping you work towards your professional accountancy qualifications. Afterwards you'll have the chance to rotate through various finance departments broadening your expertise and experience.

You’ll be part of a friendly and diverse team bringing together a wealth of knowledge and experience in finance.

About the role
  • Ensure that the accounts receivable process is run accurately and on a timely basis liaising with the Client Account Manager CAM team where required and carry out receipting of cash against invoices.
  • Ensure the month end close occurs on a timely basis and all associated journals are accurate and complete.
  • Oversight of the rebate process.
  • Carry out balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide insight and analysis to other teams within finance for example aged debtor reporting and monthly handover of revenue.
  • Work closely with the Statutory Accounting Team to ensure the audit is managed effectively and all actions are closed in a timely manner.

  • Recent graduate or equivalent qualification preferably in a course focused on Accountancy Finance or Mathematics.
  • Good Excel and IT skills essential.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines taking ownership and responsibility.
  • Tenacious and can do attitude.
  • Willingness to challenge and contribute to change.
  • Thorough approach and attention to detail.
