Overview

Job Role: Final Quality Inspector

Location: Leicester

Pay Rate: £16.71 per hour (37.5 hours per week, paid monthly)

Hours: Day shift - Mon-Thu 7.30am-4.15pm, Fri 7.30am-12pm (overtime/flexibility required)

The Final Quality Inspector

Our client seeking an experienced Final Quality Inspector to join their Quality Team in Leicester. You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient inspection of manufactured and purchased products, ensuring full compliance with customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out dimensional inspection of manufactured and purchased products using metrology equipment.
  • Verify conformity against engineering drawings and Inspection Control Plans, recording results electronically.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures for metrology equipment and participate in gauge R&R studies.
  • Assist with the electronic preparation of Inspection Control Plans and FAIR documentation.
  • Support non-conformance reporting and assist in root-cause resolution to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Move work within the department and across departments to meet business priorities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-training within the Quality department.
The Candidate
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in final inspection within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of metrology measuring equipment.
  • Fully competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and reliable, with a positive team-focused attitude.
