Job summary

RES Limited in East England is seeking a field-based Technical Sales Engineer to survey sites, design air source heat pump systems and produce on-site quotations. You will commission installations, complete handovers and resolve technical issues with remedial visits.

You will produce heat-loss calculations and system designs using company tools, compile proposals for the sales team, and ensure accurate CRM records.

Qualifications

• On-site surveys and room heat loss calculations.
• quote_proposals and quotations prepared for the sales team and CRM maintained.
• MCS compliance and Building Regulations adherence for all installations.
• Ability to translate technical data into actionable insights for non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Conducting technical site surveys and agree system specs with installers/ homeowners.
• Produce room‑by‑room heat loss calculations and system designs.
• Act as Nominated Technical Supervisor for regional MCS projects ensuring compliance.
• Provide phone-based and remote technical support and maintain relationships with installers.
