Job summary

Focal Systems is expanding across the UK and is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to maintain installations for our customers in your area. This role will primarily involve working store opening hours but may include overnight work and attending installations where our product will be installed.

You will be accountable for the successful maintenance, deployment and adoption of our system. Candidates must have a valid UK driving licence, be comfortable with power tools, and meet our

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience preferred.
• Strong technical troubleshooting to diagnose hardware and software issues.
• Proficient with power tools and installation equipment.
• Excellent physical stamina for long shifts and demanding tasks.
• Detail-oriented with good time management and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, replace and configure camera hardware on-site.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks and address issues.
• Respond to service calls and meet SLAs.
• Maintain service records of work performed and parts used.
• Onboard and scan products into the system.
• Attend installations at client sites during night hours when required.
• Install Focal Systems product onto shelves and ceilings per plans.
• Operate power tools safely and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team to complete installations and meet KPIs.
