Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to maintain installations for customers across the UK. The role is a 6-month fixed-term contract working 30 hours per week, with potential extension.

You will diagnose issues, perform installations, and ensure service quality while adhering to KPIs and safety protocols. Responsibilities include on-site and remote maintenance, emergency responses, and meticulous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Proven Field Service Technician experience in related fields.
• Strong technical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with power tools and installation equipment.
• Able to work nights and weekends.
• Physical stamina for long shifts.
• Detail-oriented with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Onsite and offsite maintenance of camera hardware.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks.
• Respond promptly to service calls and meet SLAs.
• Maintain records of service activities and parts used.
• Install Focal Systems product onto shelves and other equipment.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to complete installations.
• Meet or exceed KPIs consistently.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors.
