Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician in the United Kingdom on a 6-month fixed-term contract working 30 hours per week. The role involves on-site and customer-site maintenance, installation, and deployment of our shelf-mounted camera system.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring KPIs are met. A valid UK driving licence and ability to travel to sites are required; some nights/weekends may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience in installation or related roles.
• Strong technical aptitude to diagnose hardware and software issues.
• Ability to use power tools and install equipment safely.
• Excellent detail orientation and time management.
• Willing to work nights/weekends and travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Onsite and offsite maintenance of camera hardware and installations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to service calls.
• Document work performed, parts used, and time spent.
• Install the Focal Systems product onto shelves and fixtures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and meet KPI targets.
• Travel to sites and coordinate with team.
