A global environmental instrumentation leader is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide support, service, and training on ENVEA products across Northern West England, including Manchester and Liverpool. Responsibilities include traveling to customer sites for repairs, offering expert advice, and ensuring accurate documentation. Applicants should have a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with some experience in customer service and instrumentation. The role may require overnight travel. The role of Field Service Engineer is to provide product support, service, test and repair of the full range of ENVEA equipment across Customer sites in UK. The role may also require training customers in correct use and maintenance of their product and telephone support as necessary. Other duties may include feeding back knowledge and experience to support development of best practice within the Service Department.
Travel is part of the core of role, and you will be required to attend customer sites across the allocated area and occasionally upon request across the UK. Some work may require overnight stays away from home, and on occasion this may be up to a week in duration. Very occasionally the opportunity to travel to international customers may be available.
