Overview

White Goods Engineer / Trainee Field Engineer (Electro-Mechanical) – Torquay. Join a Leading UK Appliance Brand - Full Training Provided.

The Company

With over 40 years of success in the domestic appliance industry, this well-established manufacturer is one of the UK's most trusted brands. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their service team and are looking for both experienced engineers and enthusiastic trainees ready to build a long-term career.

The Role

8 weeks of comprehensive training to diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic appliances. After training, you'll work from home with parts delivered overnight, attending 8-10 customer visits per day in your local area. You'll be responsible for:

  • Fault-finding and repairing appliances (washing machines, ovens, fridges, etc.)
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Aiming for a first-time fix wherever possible
Who We're Looking For

We welcome applications from:

  • Experienced white goods engineers
  • Trainees with electro-mechanical or field service backgrounds (e.g. coffee machines, vending, ticketing, vehicle maintenance, etc.)

You'll need:

  • electro mechanical background open to any industry exposure
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
