Job summary

GLORY in the UK is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support customer technology across a large territory. The role is hands-on, combining electro‑mechanical repair, Windows‑based diagnostics, and basic networking to keep customer sites operating reliably.

You’ll work independently, manage your workload, communicate clearly on site, and prioritise first‑time fixes within SLAs. A company vehicle is provided, with a Saturday/Bank Holiday rota and ongoing training to develop

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience in a customer environment (ATM, printers/EPOS, kiosks or similar).
• Strong fault-finding ability across electro-mechanical systems.
• Confident using a Windows laptop for diagnostics, reporting and communication.
• Networking competence: LAN/Ethernet, IP addressing and basic connectivity checks.
• Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to efficiently manage day-to-day priorities and workload.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a mix of planned maintenance, installations/upgrades, and priority attendance when a time‑critical issue arises.
• Diagnose faults efficiently using a structured approach and document actions.
• Use a Windows laptop to access tools, review logs, updates/configuration, and record steps taken.
• Perform network connectivity tasks (LAN, IP settings) to access device interfaces.
• Repair and maintain electro‑mechanical systems and components.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Provide clear customer updates and set expectations during service activity.
• Complete accurate job documentation to support first‑time fix and audits.
