Job summary

Glory Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customer technology across South Birmingham and North Worcestershire. You will perform electro‑mechanical service, Windows‑based diagnostics, and basic networking to keep sites running reliably.

The role is field‑based with a company vehicle. You’ll manage your workload independently, maintain clear on‑site communication, and complete accurate documentation to meet SLAs. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience in a customer environment.
• Strong fault‑finding ability across electro‑mechanical systems.
• Confident using a Windows laptop for diagnostics, reporting, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a mix of planned maintenance, installations/upgrades, and priority attendance when a customer has a time‑critical issue.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Escalate effectively with logs and fault context to technical support.
