Job summary

TOMRA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support automated recycling technology across Scotland. You will install, service, and repair RVMs at customer sites, travelling regionally and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You’ll work with experienced colleagues, learn continuously, and contribute to improving equipment reliability while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in electro-mechanical systems required.
• Curious and solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
• Customer-focused approach with clear communication.
• Comfortable using power/tools both independently and with a team.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites.
• Support installation, commissioning and roll-out of new machines across the UK.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Build relationships with customers and site contacts; provide professional service.
• Travel across the region; occasional overnight stays may be required.
• Record service activities and machine status using digital systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold high safety standards.
