Job summary

TOMRA is seeking Field Service Engineers across Scotland to support the UK rollout as part of a growth phase ahead of the Deposit Return Scheme. You will install, maintain and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites, travel between locations, and ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.

This hands-on role offers variety, autonomy and training, with weekend overtime and a rota-based schedule from Oct 2027.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in electro-mechanical systems.
• Curious and solution-oriented mindset.
• Customer-focused approach with strong communication.
• Comfortable using power tools.
• Willingness to travel across the UK Scotland region.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at customer sites.
• Support installation, commissioning, and roll-out of new machines as TOMRA expands across the UK.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, carrying out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts, providing professional and friendly service.
• Travel throughout your region to support customers, with occasional overnight stays when required.
• Accurately record service activities, machine status, and updates using digital systems and tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback, developing your technical knowledge, and maintaining high safety standards at all times.
