Job summary

TOMRA is recruiting a Field Engineer to install, maintain, repair, and optimise recycling technology at customer sites across London and the South East. You’ll operate in a safety-focused environment that prioritises wellbeing and customer experience while building your technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems with interest in learning to test and repair complex equipment.
• Customer-focused approach with clear, confident communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and work in a field-based role.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at customer sites.
• Support installation, commissioning, and roll-out of new machines across the UK.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts; provide professional service.
• Travel within region to support customers; occasional overnight stays.
• Accurately record service activities and machine status using digital systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and maintaining high safety standards.
