Job summary

TOMRA is seeking a Field Engineer to support the UK’s recycling infrastructure. In this hands-on role you’ll install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites across the South, with a mix of planned and reactive work and a strong emphasis on safety.

• Solid foundation in electro-mechanical systems, with interest in analysing, testing and repairing complex equipment.
• Curious and solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Customer-focused approach with clear and confident communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at customer sites.
• Support installation, commissioning, and roll-out of new machines across the UK."
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts, delivering professional service.
• Travel throughout your region to support customers, with occasional overnight stays.
• Record service activities, machine status, and updates using digital systems and tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and maintaining high safety standards.
