Job summary

TOMRA is seeking a Field Engineer to join our UK team and maintain, repair, and optimise our recycling technology at customer sites. You will troubleshoot equipment, install new machines, and travel across the region, ensuring safe and reliable operation while delivering excellent customer service.

You'll work in a safety-focused environment with opportunities to learn, develop field skills, and contribute to TOMRA's growth ahead of the UK DRS rollout.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in electro-mechanical systems and hands-on repair experience.
• Curious, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Customer-focused communicator with ability to explain technical info clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA RVMs at customer sites.
• Support installation and rollout of new machines across the UK.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts; provide professional service.
• Travel across your region; occasional overnight stays may be required.
• Record service activities and machine status in digital systems; contribute to safety and continuous improvement.
