Job summary

TOMRA UK is seeking a Field Engineer to support our mission of transforming how recycling happens, with safety at the center. You'll maintain, repair, and optimise TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites, with a mix of planned and reactive work, autonomy, and opportunities to grow within a collaborative team.

Based in the UK, you’ll travel to sites across the South East and beyond, install new machines, document service activities, and contribute to continuous improvement while

Qualifications

• Customer-focused mindset with clear communication.
• Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems with willingness to learn testing and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, traveling to sites.
• Flexibility to travel and work outside standard hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at customer sites.
• Support installation, commissioning, and rollout of new machines across the UK.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts, delivering professional service.
• Travel throughout your region with occasional overnight stays.
• Accurately record service activities and machine status using digital systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and maintaining high safety standards.
