Job summary

Getronics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover field service and on-site clients across the UK. You will provide maintenance and support for hardware services and ensure customer satisfaction during on-site visits.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, security clearance, and strong IT systems knowledge, combined with excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Training and career development are offered within a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license and access to a car.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard check.
• Strong understanding of IT systems and environments.
• Strong customer service skills and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and support for field-based clients and on-site IT hardware services.
• Ensure tasks are completed in line with technical and quality standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while on-site.
• Monitor, update and progress incidents per guidelines.
• Train and support Junior Field Service Engineers using your expertise.
• Coordinate between clients and vendors to resolve issues within timescales.
• Resolve hardware issues and basic software problems.
