Job summary

nGeneration is hiring a Field Service Engineer to visit customer sites across the UK, installing, refurbishing and maintaining EPoS and IT hardware. You will interact with clients and perform on-site repairs with documented sign-off.

The role involves UK-wide travel, a 13-hour shift pattern, and relocation support for Midlands-based work. A full UK manual driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT support experience (preferred).
• 1 year of EPOS experience (preferred).
• Clean Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites daily to install, refurbish and maintain IT equipment including EPoS, tablets, and routers.
• Carry out on-site hardware diagnostics, break/fix installs and ensure proper documentation with client sign-off.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues and escalate when needed, minimising downtime.
