Job summary

TOMRA is seeking Field Service Engineers to install, maintain, and repair Reverse Vending Machines across Northern Ireland and the UK. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with new installations while delivering exceptional customer service.

This early-career role offers hands-on experience, autonomy, and strong growth within a safety-focused team. Expect plenty of field visits, travel, and opportunities to advance as the UK rolls out new recycling

Qualifications

• Hands-on field role maintaining and repairing equipment at customer sites
• Foundation in electro‑mechanical systems with willingness to learn testing and repair
• Full UK driving licence required to travel between sites

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at customer sites
• Support the installation, commissioning, and roll-out of new machines as TOMRA expands across the UK
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, carrying out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
• Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts, providing professional and friendly service
• Travel throughout your region to support customers, with occasional overnight stays when required
• Accurately record service activities and machine status using digital systems and tools
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and maintaining high safety standards
