Job summary

TOMRA is seeking Field Service Engineers to join our Northern Ireland team. You will install, service, and repair Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites, with travel across the region and occasional overnight stays.

This is a hands-on, early-career role that emphasizes safety and customer experience. As part of the UK expansion ahead of the Deposit Return Scheme launch in 2027, you will gain technical expertise, work with experienced colleagues, and grow within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems.
• Interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Willingness to travel within the UK/NI for field work.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA RVMs at customer sites.
• Support installation, commissioning and rollout of new machines.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts, providing professional service.
• Travel within your region to support customers, with occasional overnight stays.
• Record service activities and machine status using digital systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain high safety standards.
