Field Service Engineer - Medical Equipment
We're recruiting for a Field Service Engineer on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer of medical sterilisation equipment. Their products are widely used across hospitals, dental practices, GP surgeries, laboratories, and specialist facilities, helping ensure critical equipment remains safe and compliant.
This is a field-based role focused on North East London and the North East arc of the M25, with flexibility for applicants living anywhere within this region or further into London. Occasional wider UK travel may be required.
You'll be responsible for the installation, servicing and repair of autoclaves and associated medical equipment, working independently at customer sites. There is also the opportunity to earn commission through the sale of consumables and accessories during service visits.
We are interested in candidates with experience in armed forces engineering and technical roles, including but not limited to: Armed Forces Engineers, Avionics Technicians, RAF Technicians, Electronic Technicians, REME Engineers, Engineering Officers, Weapons Engineers, Mechanical Technicians, and Technical Specialists. Relevant backgrounds include personnel from the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, British Army, Royal Marines, and wider HM Forces.
We are also keen to hear from candidates outside the armed forces who have experience as Maintenance Engineers or Field Service Engineers, particularly those working on electro‑mechanical equipment.
If you’re a hands‑on engineer who enjoys autonomy, variety and working directly with customers, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well‑regarded organisation that invests in its engineers.
