Job summary

Roche Diagnostics invites a Field Service Engineer to join the South Region Customer‑Centric Field Support Team in the UK. The role focuses on ensuring uptime for Roche diagnostic systems across Exeter–Kent with a mix of on‑site and field-based activities.

You will diagnose electro‑mechanical faults, perform preventive maintenance, and provide customer training to maximize system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• HNC/HND level with proven track record also considered.
• Experience in the IVD industry delivering technical support.
• Excellent analytical ability, troubleshooting expertise, and accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to mentor others through training and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electro‑mechanical hardware support, including routine proactive and reactive tasks and technical training.
• Perform troubleshooting and fault resolution, preventive maintenance, and reporting to improve efficiency.
• Provide technical training and guidance to customers on Roche diagnostic systems.
• Maintain administration and regulatory documentation for compliance and service delivery.
• Build productive relationships with peers and stakeholders to align service and sales objectives.
• Attend internal review meetings to discuss progress and service excellence.
