Job summary

A leading materials handling business is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to service and repair forklifts and Material Handling Equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a recognised engineering qualification. A full UK driving licence is essential. This role offers a salary of £30,000 - £42,000 plus overtime and benefits including a company van and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background from forklifts, automotive, plant, or similar.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Previous field service experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair forklift trucks and other MHE at customer sites.
• Carry out diagnostics, fault finding and repairs to component level.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and workmanship.
