Job summary

Franke Coffee Systems UK Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Fife or surrounding areas. The role focuses on technical support for customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues, and reporting stock or training needs to the Head of Field Service.

You will adhere to Franke UK Technical Standards, participate in an on-call rota, and work to maintain high levels of customer service and reliability on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service engineering and remit of the role.
• Minimum 2 years in coffee machine or vending industries.
• Competent with phone and laptop usage.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Personal integrity and reliability.
• Strong analytical and prioritisation abilities.
• Know when to inform or escalate issues.
• Willing to perform ad hoc duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Franke UK technical standards and processes.
• On-call weekend rota for engineering support (1 in 6 weekends).
• Identify and report skill gaps and customer gaps.
• Manage stock levels and site-level customer relations.
• Keep up with admin tasks and company courses.
• Escalate issues to Account Support when needed.
