Job summary

Franke Coffee Systems UK Ltd. is seeking a Service Engineer based in Fife or surrounding areas to provide technical support and resolve issues for customers. You will work to the company’s standards, manage stock levels, and maintain strong site-level customer relations.

The role includes on-call weekend duties (1 in 6) and requires 2+ years in the coffee machine or vending sector, plus excellent communication skills and integrity.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in the coffee machine or vending industry.
Ability to demonstrate understanding of the Field Engineers remit.
Competent using phone and laptop.
Excellent communications skills.
Personal integrity.
Analysing and prioritising skills.
Understand when to inform and when to elevate issues.
Any other ad hoc duties that arise in the role.

Responsibilities

Ensure agreed Franke UK Technical Standards and Processes are adhered to.
On Call weekend rota for Engineer Technical Assistance and reactive calls (1 every 6 weekends).
Highlight Technical skills gap.
Managing stock levels.
Managing customer relations at a site level.
Keeping up to date with all company admin and courses.
Highlight issues where Account Support is required due to ongoing Customer Issues.
