Job summary

A leading scientific instruments manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Chromatography and Material Characterisation products. Responsibilities include performing field service tasks, providing user training, and maintaining service inventory. Candidates should have an HND in a relevant field, an understanding of analytical techniques, and a full driving license. This is a field-based role covering the M4 corridor, particularly Reading, Oxford, and Banbury areas.

Qualifications

  • HND or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Understanding of analytical techniques and instrumentation.
  • Experience in GMP environments preferred.
  • Full driving license required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field service including repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide onsite user training on product groups.
  • Maintain service spares and inventory records.
  • Promote and sell service products.
