Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Installation Team

Salary: £39,000 base + Van + Overtime (after 50 hours) + Travel Time + Accommodation & Subsistence Covered

On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to £50,000

Location: UK-wide travel required (Regular overnight stays - all expenses paid)

Ideal Base Location: Midlands / Coventry area - excellent access for nationwide travel

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our specialist installation team, delivering bespoke material handling systems across the UK. This role suits someone who is mechanically minded, has a strong work ethic, and is happy to be away from home for extended periods.

You'll be involved in the installation, commissioning, repair, and decommissioning of a wide variety of custom-built systems, including:

  • Conveyors
  • Cranes
  • Automated storage systems
  • Racking and other material handling equipment
What the Role Involves
  • Nationwide installation projects on customer sites
  • Working as part of a mobile team installing and supporting complex engineered systems
  • Extended periods away from home (accommodation and meals paid for)
  • Hands-on mechanical installation, repairs, and site work
  • Liaising with integrators and end clients to deliver high-quality solutions

  • Mechanical installation engineers
  • Vehicle mechanics or crane engineers
