Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Customer Solutions Technician to install security products at residential premises, including intruder alarms, CCTV, and doorbells. You will receive full paid training, a company van, uniform and tools, with a basic salary and incentives.

Install and commission systems, deliver high-class service, solve problems, and nurture customer relationships. You will work solo or in a team, promote JCI positively, and keep accurate records and timesheets.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Ability to carry and climb ladders and work at height.
• Practical skills with hand and power tools.
• Safe, responsible work ethic and tidy site practices.
• Reliable and able to work alone or in a team.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
• Familiar with using smartphones, tablets and PCs.
• Security check may be performed after offer.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission intruder alarms, CCTV, doorbells and access control.
• Deliver high quality customer service and identify sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records, mileage, expenses and timesheets.
• Work independently or with colleagues and represent the company positively.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required by the manager.
