Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Customer Solutions Technician to perform routine inspections, breakdown repairs, and installations of CCTV, video doorbells, and intruder alarms. You will manage workloads to meet daily targets, receive paid training, and be provided with a company van, uniform, and tools.

The role covers County Derry and North Antrim in Northern Ireland, with a focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• UK manual driver's license (full)
• Ability to climb ladders and work at height
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Commitment to safe, responsible working practices
• Willingness to be on a rota-based on-call shift
• Reliable and capable of working independently or in a team
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfort with smartphones, tablets and PCs

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test CCTV, video doorbell and intruder alarm systems.
• Replace detector batteries and test panels/back-up batteries.
• Check activation of sounders and signaling to Alarm Receiving Centre.
• Install/commission systems and build on knowledge of security technologies.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and identify sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and mileage/expenses.
• Liaise with service bureau per company procedures.
