Job summary

Johnson Controls in Belfast is seeking a Customer Solutions Technician to install, inspect and service CCTV, video doorbell and intruder alarm systems. You will visit customer sites in the local area, perform routine inspections and repairs, and help maintain a high level of service while meeting targets.

Training is provided and a company van, tools and uniform are supplied. You will work on a rota including on-call shifts, use smartphones/tablets for job data, and contribute to a positive

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Ability to work at height and climb ladders.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Willing to work on a rota-based on-call shift.
• Strong safety awareness and responsibility.
• Capable of using smartphones, tablets and PCs.
• Background check will be conducted after offer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, breakdown repairs and installations of CCTV, video doorbell and intruder alarm systems.
• Test, replace batteries and check system operation, including signaling and backup power.
• Install and commission systems and liaise with service bureau as required.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and identify sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records, mileage, expenses and timesheets.
