Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Customer Solutions Technician to service CCTV, doorbell and intruder alarm systems across the UK. You will receive full paid training, a company van, tools, uniform and a basic salary with a competitive incentive scheme.

Role requires driving, working at height and using mobile data devices to record work. You will build customer relationships, complete paperwork accurately, and support ongoing service delivery while meeting daily targets.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driver's license.
• Ability to carry and climb ladders and work at height.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Safe and responsible work practices to avoid injuries and waste.
• Willing to work on a rota-based on-call shift.
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to work alone or in a team.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort with smartphones, tablets and PCs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, breakdown repairs and installations of CCTV, video doorbell and intruder alarm systems.
• Install and commission systems and document work on the Mobile Data Device.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and identify sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate mileage, expenses documentation and timesheets.
• Follow company procedures and safety standards.
